Getting Started

Welcome to AuditBase on iOS. Our goal is to offer a seamless, empowering experience that gives you full control over your project documentation and reporting needs. This support guide will help you navigate the app effectively on your iPhone or iPad.

App Permissions

AuditBase may request certain permissions to function as intended. You can manage these under Settings > AuditBase on your device.

  • Camera: Used to capture project photos directly in the app.
  • Photos: Allows you to upload images from your gallery.
  • Files: Needed to save or share PDF reports from your device or iCloud Drive.

Saving and Sharing Reports

All project data and generated reports are saved locally. You can export PDFs via:

  • Email or AirDrop
  • Saving to the Files app or iCloud Drive
  • Sharing via third-party messaging or file-sharing apps

If you encounter issues while sharing, ensure the Files and Mail apps have appropriate permissions and connectivity.

Troubleshooting

  • App not saving reports: Make sure you have allowed file access in iOS Settings and have storage space available.
  • Camera/photos not working: Check that you have granted Camera and Photos access to AuditBase.
  • App crashes: Restart your device and ensure your iOS is up to date.

Backing Up Your Data

Because AuditBase stores everything locally, your data is backed up when your device backs up to iCloud (if enabled). For extra assurance:

  • Save reports manually to iCloud Drive or another secure storage service.
  • Export important project files regularly.
